A new experimental vision for designing children's dolls; inspired by surreal art

Abstract

The old puppets, or so-called "dummies," are part of the cultures of the peoples, with their intellectual heritage and rituals that characterized the many different civilizations. Dolls related to grandmothers and their attempts to delight their grandchildren were unforgettable moments in life.
With the rapid progress in modern technology and the variables of the era, the innovation in this field was a must to prevent this industry from extinction, this can only be achieved through experimentation and practice of the art of puppetry and to create new methods in designing dolls. The creation of modern experimental entrances from which these designs are derived where surreal art has an important, effective and influential role in these designs to develop the imaginative ability of the students of specific education.
The idea of the research emerged from this concept through launching the students' imagination to innovate, renew, and develop the traditional design of fixed dolls, which arises through the investment in creative processes, including the strategy of creativity or perceptions in order to obtain a new composition. This strategy responsible for the intensity of creative production and the formation of cognitive frameworks derived from surreal art
