Abstract

There are many forms of sustainability in the ready-made garment industry, as it may be in the form of using raw materials and organic raw materials (Organic or Eco Fabrics) that do not contain chemicals and are produced from pesticides and hormones used during agriculture, or sustainability may be in the form of recycling. Or it may be in the form of fair trade, i.e. ensuring that workers receive wages commensurate with the exerted effort and also work in appropriate working conditions in terms of the workplace, the number of working hours and workers receiving their dues fairly, or sustainability may be In applying the method of no waste or residues
This prompted the researchers to conduct a field study of a number of ready-to-wear factories in the Arab Republic of Egypt and monitor their sustainable practices related to the environmental and social dimensions. Hence, the research problem can be summarized in the following main question: -
What is the reality of sustainability in garment factories in the environmental and social dimensions in the Arab Republic of Egypt?
 The reality of the sustainability of the environmental dimension in the output from the production stages.
 The reality of the sustainability of the social dimension.
Research objective:
Monitoring sustainable practices (environmentally and socially) followed in garment factories in the Arab Republic of Egypt to achieve sustainability.
