Experimental entries to translate the art of miniatures of Al-Hariri maqamas using manual embroidery to implement the handbags of the university girl

Abstract

The present research aims mainly to shed light on the artistic aspects of the miniatures by drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of Hariri maqamas and applying them to clothing supplements, as well as to clarify the efficiency of using the technique of hand embroidery in translating Hariri maqamat miniatures, with the translation of some models of Hariri's miniatures in the handbags of the university girl. With the aim of developing creativity for the students in tasting the arts of miniature drawings and translating them using hand embroidery.
The importance of this research is in the attempt to find new sources for the decoration of handbags in an innovative way, and to revive the culture of miniature art of Hariri shrines using hand embroidery, while enriching the hand embroidery decorations with the art and aesthetics of miniatures of Hariri maqamas, as well as enriching the field of decoration of supplements with the art of pictorial expression of Maqamat miniatures. Hariri.
The search tools were:
• A questionnaire form for the opinions of the arbitrators towards designs executed.
• A form to survey the opinions of graduate students towards the proposed idea.
• A form to survey the university girls ’opinions about the executed bags.
The research method was based on both descriptive and experimental approaches. descriptive method was used to describe each picture and translate it using the hand embroidery method. As for the experimental method, it consisted of using seed stitch to embroider the miniature designs on college girl’s bags.
