Abstract

The research aimed to study the relationship between the use of the Internet by young people coming to marriage and their perception and attitudes towards smart housing. The research sample consisted of (284) male and female youth who are ready to marry or engage in the age group of 30-18 years, with different cultural, social and economic levels. From the villages and cities of Al-Gharbia Governorate, the research tools consisted of: a general data form for young people, a questionnaire on the use of the Internet for young people who are about to get married, a questionnaire of perception and attitude of young people about to marry into smart housing. The application of the research tools took about three months from June to September 2020, and the questionnaire was applied to the young people, the research sample, electronically, by sending by e-mail or various social media. Among the most important results of the research: The majority of the research sample ranges from 4 hours to less than 6 hours on the Internet, Half of the research sample. Chatting with friends is one of the most important goals of using the Internet, followed by searching for academic information and doing research. The least used goals are downloading movies and games. The existence of a positive correlation between the use of the Internet by young people going to get married and the trend of young people towards smart housing,
