Abstract

Research problem: Characteristics of the dramatic structure in the theatrical works of "Omar Farag", by treating his play "Minds not thinking" with criticism and analysis?.
Importance of the research: The importance of this research is due to the fact that it deals with a very important topic, which is the issue of religious extremism.
Research aims: Identify the features and characteristics of the dramatic construction of the author Omar Farag through the theatrical text The research sample?
Research type and methodology: Research from descriptive research.
Research sample: the play "Minds not thinking".
Research results:
- The play text "Idle Minds" raises the issue of religious terrorism consciously and by writing a play about a promising playwright.
- Omar Farag used - through his play "Minds not thinking" - his abilities in interpreting the Egyptian reality, as well as his abilities in religious interpretation for each group.
- The basic idea of this play is to correct the misconceptions espoused by Islamic extremists. The conflict that arose between the characters of the play helped the plot develop well.
- The struggle in the play "Minds not thinking" is a struggle of ideas. The author succeeded in creating a good dramatic paradox since the beginning of the play.
- The play’s dialogue was intense and expressed the tongue and thought of its characters.
