Using hybrid education to teach media courses to students of educational media and the gratifications achieved from it

Abstract

Abstract :
The study aimed to monitor the rate and motives of students of educational media departments using hybrid education while studying media courses and the gratifications achieved from it. The sample of the study consisted of 400 students from the educational media departments (females - males) at the Faculty of Specific Education at the universities of (Kafr El-Sheikh representing regional universities - Cairo University representing urban universities).The study used the electronic questionnaire form as a tool for data collection, and the study was applied during the academic year 2020/2021, during the period from 1/3/2021AD to 1/5/2021AD. The study reached several results, the most important of which are:
1-There are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of using (male-female) in the intensity of the use of hybrid education in studying media courses in favor of males.
2- It turns out that there is a direct, medium relationship between the motives for using hybrid education in studying media courses and the satisfactions achieved from it.
3- It was clear that there were statistically significant differences between females and males in the two preferred hybrid education methods (traditional education - distance education).
