Abstract

The study aimed to determine the reality of using interactive video platforms for secondary school teachers at Omar Ibn Al-Khattab School and Malih in Al-Namas Governorate to provide a new understanding that supports the effective integration of these platforms in the educational process. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the survey method (questionnaire). The study sample was 63 male and female teachers.
The results revealed that (46%) of the teachers who participated in this study have positive perceptions of the use of interactive video platforms in education and consider these platforms as supportive and useful to facilitate learning and communication, enhance cooperation, exchange experiences, and create content improving and building knowledge. However, a large part of the teachers did not use these platforms due to several obstacles, including slow internet and interruptions for long periods, and the presence of some technical problems that waste part of the limited class time, such as problems with sound interruption and lack of clarity the video. The study recommended conducting more research on the factors and barriers that may affect the attitudes of Saudi teachers towards the use of interactive video platforms to support the learning process.
