The Semiotics of Funerary Drawings in the Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East as a Source for Enriching Contemporary Painting with Technology Media
Heritage arts are an essential part of cultural identity, as they link the members of society to the past, present and future. With the advancement of the age of technology, it led to a diversity of means of expression in the fields of arts and knowledge. The use of media arts and Android programs and the use of metal and natural composite materials to change the standards of the traditional form of artwork, and enrich the process of experimentation and creation of Drawing works.
The research follows the descriptive analytical approach. Funeral drawings in the arts of ancient Middle Eastern civilizations need an integrated indicative analysis, as they carry connotations with implications that help social and ideological communication between ages
Accordingly, the applied study will conduct an analytical study to interpret the symbols and connotations of funeral drawings in the arts of ancient Middle Eastern civilizations, extract the semantic meaning and analyze the foundations of the constructions of the work. Technological media such as Android programs, Photoshop and Illustrator, and employing them in creating innovative graphic works and compositions.
