Abstract

The aim of the current study is to investigate the utilization of the Madrasati platform by educational supervisors; as well as exploring the difficulties faced whilst applying augmented reality technology. A sample of 51 supervisors, including various specializations in the General Administration of Education in Taif Governorate, indicated a large uptake in the Madrasati platform. A notable trend that was discovered during the analysis was a positive trend towards the use of the ‘A dimensions through my School’ platform. There were notable statistically significant differences of opinion when considering the use of remove supervisory methods and the use of the Madrasati platform. The most prevalent obstacles, which prevented or increased the difficulty during use, were the number of administrative tasks required by the educational supervisor. It was also noted that there was difficulty when evaluating the performance of teachers through remote supervisory methods. The study concluded with several recommendations. There is a need of (a) of reducing the administrative burdens of educational supervisors, as well as (b) encouraging them to use remote supervisory methods and reducing the use of traditional supervisory methods, and (c) granting educational supervisors more powers on the Madrasati platform in the use of remote supervisory methods.
