Abstract

Sculpture, as one of the oldest forms of artistic expression, reflects a continuous evolution in the use of materials and techniques. Among the materials that are gaining significant popularity in contemporary sculpture, dough stands out as an innovative medium that enables artists to create diverse and complex forms with relative ease.



This research aims to study the use of dough as an artistic tool in sculpture, focusing on the expansion of techniques in working with it and its impact on artistic creativity in the modern era. By presenting the research problem, hypotheses, and its significance, the results were as follows: the research proved that the use of dough in sculpture heavily relies on various manual techniques such as shaping, pressing, and assembling, which allows for the creation of intricate details and complex shapes. Dough opens new horizons for sculptors in experimenting with forms and surfaces, enhancing the trend towards innovation in sculpture, especially in contemporary art
