Abstract

The medical fabrics are the fabrics that require attention to join the progress in the field of medical textile design technology and raise the efficiency of the performance of these medical textiles to reach the level of quality that achieve high competitiveness.
Cotton fiber is a natural characteristic of resistance to bacterial activity but it is affected by microorganism pollution. 100% cotton fabrics are produced by Misr Spinning & Weaving Company in Mahalla El Kobra. then treated with nanoscale zinc oxide particles at different concentrations.
This research aims at improving the useful properties of the fabrics used in the field of bandages by using some different structural methods
plain 1/1 - traditional molding - satin 5 - hencom
And after executing the research's samples according to the  determined specifications and the specific variables, some necessary lab tests were conducted to determine the quality of the functional performance of the fabrics produced before and after treatment. The laboratory results of the tested properties of the fabric samples produced under the research were then analyzed using the applied statistics.
That the best specifications for the fabrics produced are consistent with the functional properties of the textile product in question, in the fabric produced by the textile composition as a traditional method treated with zinc oxide nanometer.
The research then presented a set of recommendations and suggestions that, in combination with research efforts, can improve the quality of the functional performance of the fabrics of the bandages, which contributes to the development of the quality of Egyptian textile products for international competition
