Al-Oud is one of the most important Arabic stringed instruments. Many scientists agree that al-Oud’s origins date back to the ancient Egyptian civilization, as the inscriptions on the pharaonic temples show. The Egyptian Oud is the first Oud to be known in history and it was called (al-mazhar, al-kran, al-barbt, al-mawter, and al-oud). This instrument requires special skills that need to be developed gradually and continuously, starting with Sufi reading, using the pen by the right hand with the left-hand fingers playing on the strings. In order to achieve this goal, the oud teacher always searches for the best ways to deliver the musical information and paves the way for playing some musical and instrumental forms that require some skills to achieve a high level of playing on al-oud. The research is divided into: (The Theoretical Frame and Applied Frame) First: the theoretical frame includes: Literature review The curriculum vitae of Prof. Nabil Shore The free musical note (fantasy) A synopsis about al-Oud and Sufi course Second: the applied frame involves: Writing the musical note and an analytical study of "the story of grapple land". Mapping out the creative exercises which will overcome the musical and Sufi performance problems. The paper concludes with the results, recommendations, reference list, and summary.
