The Gap between Learning Outcomes and Labor Market Needs for Specialization of Housing and Home Management in the Shade of Saudi Arabia Kingdom's Vision 2030

Abstract

This current study aims to identify the differences between the learning outcomes of female Graduates specializing in housing and home management and between the needs of the labor market from these outcomes , and The study tools included a special questionnaire for employers of the labor market It contains (preliminary data form - questionnaire Satisfaction of the labor market employers about female graduates specializing in housing and home management - questionnaire of the labor market employers views on the knowledge, attributes, skills and behaviors of bearing responsibility required from female graduates' for employment in the labor market), also study tools included a special questionnaire for female graduates specializing in housing and home management contains (Preliminary data form - questionnaire of female Graduates' attitudes specializing in housing and home management towards the labor market- questionnaire of female graduates' satisfaction with learning outcomes related to their jobs), The application was applied on two samples, the first sample was selected in a deliberate manner and included (20) of labor market employers in organizations where the female Graduates in the specialize can work in it included (17)Governmental organization(3) Private organization, while the second sample was randomly selected and included (100) of female Graduates specializing in housing and home management , They are from different social cases and ages, and of them (48) workers, (52) non workers, and The study was based on the descriptive analytical method.
The most important results of the study in that There are no statistically significant differences between the learning outcomes of female Graduates specializing in housing and home management related to the axis of knowledge and attributes of female graduates and between the needs of the labor market from this axis, while there are statistically significant differences between learning outcomes of female graduates specializing in housing and home management related to with each(axis of the female graduates skills - axis of the behaviors of bearing female graduates responsibility for work) and knowledge, attributes, skills and behaviors of bearing responsibility to female graduates generally and between the needs of the labor market from these axis and knowledge, attributes, skills and behaviors of bearing responsibility to female graduates generally at a statistical significance level (0.05, 0.01, 0.05) respectively in favor of the needs of the labor market from these axis In the light of the results the study presented a number of effective recommendations Including add some courses to the study plan so as not to be deficient and suitable to the requirements of the labor market and according to the vision 2030 of the Kingdom, and from those courses (field training - Readings in the field of specialization in English language - Computer - volunteerism and community responsibility), And also try to develop the study Program to Interdisciplinary Studies to expand the base of jobs which can be joined by female graduates in the labor market ,and activating communication between the employers of the labor market and the university to contribute In the develop the study Program and to meet the needs of the labor market.
