Abstract

The research aims to produce upholstery fabrics to achieve a positive effect on the aesthetic and functional properties of upholstery fabrics, as it is rare to have multiple textile compositions in a single upholstery cloth, the printing method is relied upon more than textile compositions. The research attempted to achieve the aesthetic, functional aspect of upholstery fabrics with innovative textile designs in addition to taking into account the economic aspect.
With multiple raw materials such as (Fibran No. 1/28 cotton - viscose, No. 28/1, cotton - a polyester / cotton mixture of (50/50), No. 28/1 cotton, the warp yarns from polyester No. 170/1, and the weaving designs were used as Hopsack weave (Basket Weave) 2/2 (extending the plain weave both warp and weft), Weft Rib Weave 1/3 (extending the plain weave from weft), twill weave 1/3, 5-thread weft sateen, arranging.

A questionnaire was (Two way ANOVA), one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) and quality assessment (the quality parameter for each of the characteristics under study) and the coefficient of the agreement is the opinions of the judges,
and Tukey's test to find the differences between the averages for applied designs
and the direction of significance

results:
1- Sample No. (1) comes first, with a quality factor of (97.083%).
2- Weft material (cotton / polyester) and the thickness of the strips with design (1) is the best fabric.
3- The weft material (viscose / polyester) and the thickness of the strips with design (1) is the least of the fabric.
