Abstract

The Ancient Egyptian Arts extended for three thousand years BC, from approximately 3150 BC until Alexander the Great of Macedonia entered Egypt in 323 BC and seized it during the era of the Roman Empire, where ancient Egyptian society was divided into (30) ruling families, It consists in its sequence of successive eras in the ancient Egyptian arts, Due to the succession of those eras, we find that the Styles and methods of making and producing ancient Egyptian art passed in all its fields in general, and the art of Ornaments and Metal Ornamental Supplements in particular, through various stages since their origin and development, then the stages of their setback and deterioration due to wars, conflicts, and invasions, The internal or external aspects that the ancient Egyptian civilization went through and then the stages of their maturity and prosperity again in the modern state.
Although the art of making Ornaments and Metal Ornamental Supplements in the ancient Egyptian civilization was distinguished by its aesthetic values, philosophical and formative dimensions, and symbolic contents, it did not receive enough attention in studies Connoisseurship and criticism, Hence, the researcher found it important to conduct a descriptive and analytical study of selected Ornaments and Metal Ornamental Supplements in the ancient Egyptian arts in order to extract their philosophical dimensions and symbolic contents and benefit from them in preparing a new approach To appreciate its artistic appreciation and to develop and advance public appreciation, which may contribute positively to increasing the preservation
