The Predictive Structural Model of Academic and Research Growth Mindset in the Light of the Over Excitability and the Patterns of Thinking Center in the Enneagram System among Graduate Students

Abstract

This research aims at building a predictive structural model that investigates the influence of over excitability and the patterns of thinking center in the Enneagram system on academic and research growth mindset and studying the influence of the degree in postgraduate studies and academic specialization and the joint interactions between them in research variables among graduate students at the Faculty of Home Economics,Menoufia University among(117)students through the application of the academic and research growth mindset scale,the over excitability scale and the patterns of the thinking center scale,The results revealed that:The prevailing thinking center pattern is the investigator,and the prevailing over excitability pattern is the intellectual and an above-average level of academic and research growth mindset were found.positive significant relationships between the academic and research growth mindset with the over excitability were found.No significant relationships between the pattern investigator and research growth mindset,positive significant relationships between the patterns (loyalist,enthusiast)and the academic and research growth mindset were found.Positive significant relationships between the pattern investigator and the over excitability and its sub-competences (imaginative,psychomotor),positive significant relationships between the patterns(loyalist,enthusiast)and the over excitability were found.It is possible to predict the academic and research growth mindset based on over excitability,and patterns(loyalist,enthusiast),and predict the academic and research growth mindset based on(intellectual,emotional,sensual)over excitabilities.build structural models explain direct and indirect effects between over excitabilities, patterns of thinking center and academic and research growth mindset.There is no significant influence for the degree in postgraduate studies and academic specialization in over excitability,patterns of thinking center,and academic and research growth mindset
