There have been many decorations on the ceramic surface since ancient times, some of which are applied before the first fire, such as hollowing out, slitting, lithography, drawing with liquid clay, drawing with lining, scraping and marbling, and some of them are applied afterward, such as applying glaze paint with its various aesthetics and techniques, drawing and printing with it, and some of it after the second fire, such as drawing with colors over glaze and decal. However, most applications of drawing on the ceramic surface were either with primers or glazes, or with colors over or under the glaze. Therefore, the idea of research came to obtain ceramic photographic plates that carry the aesthetics of watercolor, including transparency, diffusion, and color gradation using Stains. Experiments were conducted with students of the fourth year graduation project in ceramics at the Faculty of Specific Education, Aswan University, to obtain these aesthetics, then a reconnaissance experiment, and then the final works carried out. Search goal: Obtain the aesthetics of watercolor by using tempera pigments to enrich the ceramic surface research results: 1- The students were trained to make a glazed lining with a granular surface similar to canson paper. 2- The students were trained trained to paint with pigments on raw engobes. 3- The aesthetics of water colors were obtained using Stains. 4- Students were trained to use Sornaga tiles to create artistic paintings.
