Government Digital Transformation Management and Its Relation to Millennial Women's Perception of User Experience Quality: The Case of the Egyptian Government Portal

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to explore the reciprocal relationship between digital government transformation management and millennial women’s perception of user experience quality in its various dimensions. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach, and the sample consisted of 408 women. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, with the condition that the participants must be women, users of the Egyptian Government Portal (Digital Egypt Platform), and belong to the millennial generation . The sample was chosen electronically through a Google Forms survey link from various governorates (Cairo, Alexandria, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Beni Suef, Minya)It included both rural and urban areas from these governorates.



The study applied research tools that included: [General data form for millennial women, digital government transformation management questionnaire, and user experience perception questionnaire— the tools were designed by the researcher]. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to derive the study results, the most important of which were:



There is a statistically significant positive correlation at the 0.01 level between digital transformation management in its dimensions (management of financial and administrative services / management of educational and health services / management of legal and civil services) and the perception of user experience quality in its dimensions (usability / effectiveness / accessibility efficiency / user satisfaction).

The study provided several recommendations, the most important of which were:



The necessity of preparing training programs that help mothers manage family resources using digital technology, such as budget management applications, digital health, and online education.
