Abstract

The relationship between the form and the ground is still one of the relationships that preoccupy many photographers, and since art always requires new solutions for the formative and technical aspects, the idea of ​​the research came about, through the researcher's approach to one of the techniques that is characterized by spontaneity and most of its results are very complex and diverse color and tactile relationships, in an attempt to produce contemporary photographic works that are clear in the relationship between the form and the ground that carry many formative and expressive values. Through the group of works resulting from the experience of the exhibition entitled (The dialectical relationship between the form and the ground in contemporary photography - an experimental study in the marbling technique) an exhibition entitled (Melting) which included (15) works in the field of photography using glass and acrylic colors and through the marbling technique, the researcher presented a group of works in an attempt to reach intended and diverse relationships between the form and the ground that carry many formative, aesthetic and expressive values ​​through three experimental approaches, which are:

- Partial fusion of the forms and their integration with the background.

- Total fusion of the forms and their fading with the background.

Background fusion and its control over shapes.
