Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of an enrichment program based on museum education to train museum educators, in light of the teaching competencies related to art education. The researcher designed this program based on educational principles aimed at enhancing the students' cognitive and practical skills through museum education. The program was applied to a purposive sample of (60) students from the Faculty of Specific Education, Art Education Department,: an experimental group .

The researcher used a progressive performance scale (designed by the researcher) to evaluate the skills of the museum educator before and after the program’s implementation. The evaluation was based on teaching competencies in art education.The evaluation was based on performance indicators for the skills of the museum educator in accordance with teaching competencies in art education. The researcher also relied on the validity of the program's content through expert validation, using a program content evaluation form to ensure its feasibility for implementation. Through the analysis, a positive impact of the enrichment program was found, with a significant improvement in the skills of the students in the experimental group , confirming the program’s effectiveness in preparing museum educators.
