Many learners' skills can be developed in educational environments through the use of innovative generative AI tools, so integrating these advanced tools into teaching and learning environments is necessary according to the results of a large number of studies that have proven the effectiveness of various generative AI tools in developing many skills for learners. Hence, the need to integrate generative AI techniques into teaching and learning environments has become urgent in order to support the development of students' skills. Therefore, this research aims to verify the effectiveness of the generative AI program ChatGPT in developing the pattern preparation skills of Home Economics students. The research sample consisted of 128 female students registered in the fifth level in the Home Economics program, where they were randomly divided into two equal groups (experimental and control), and data were collected using a product evaluation card. The research reached the conclusion that there were statistically significant differences between the two groups in pattern preparation skills in favor of the experimental group, which is evidence of the importance of generative AI in developing the skills of Home Economics students.
